You do what Jesus said. You handle the persecution that comes with the Faith.
if you can't handle it, get out of it. Your a real loving Christian to blame the Pope, aren't you?
This post has more smoke than a foggy day.

The muslims are looking for a reason to do what their religion says they should do, convert or kill all of the non-muslims in the world.
They have started this process in the Sudan, Nigeria and many other parts of the world. I am not sure why people don't seem to understand this.
What the Pope did was not wrong, I am protestant but I can see that he was reading a text from the 14 century and meant no harm by it. Why should he do anything else.

At his weekly audience in St Peters Square on Wednesday, September 22, the pope said, "I wished to explain that not religion and violence but religion and reason go together," he said.
Pope Benedict has invited the ambassadors of Muslim countries at the Vatican, as well as leaders of Italy's own Muslim community, to a meeting on Monday at his summer palace.

The pope has made two apologies.

It will not alter the Qur'an which is what fuels the animosity. Muslims are using the speech of the pope as an excuse to attack Christians.
8:39 (Oh believers)! Fight against them until the mischief and oppression are no more, and faith becomes the domain of Allah exclusively. If they cease, then (remember): Allah watches (vigilantly) over everything they do.
At some point it may be better if Christians fight back unless you want to convert to Islam, die or pay jizyah (submission tribute) Maybe that was the hidden message of the pope. Because Manuel II, the Byzantine Emperor whose dialog the pope quoted had been overrun by Muslims and was forced to pay jizyah to stay alive.

I don't think the Pope should do anything for now than to pray for God intervention since you said he has earlier appologised but his apology was not accepted. Christianity teaches forgiveness. Religion is meant to create peace between God and man, and between man and man. Many times we have offended God and when we pray He forgives us. The Islamic leaders should accept apology and forgive. There were so many offensive utterances against christianity which the christians overlook in accordance to the principle of Love and forgiveness. If the muslims can learn to be more tolerant and overlooked knowing that God is the greatest judge, then there will be no problem. My prayer is that May Peace reign in our Universe.

i am muslim, try to not go to chuch for a while bro, keep urself safe. it's complicated, you are dealing with people behavior now not religion. because if it was for religion, then muslims have to forgive (it commanded in the Quran). but now it's a sensitive time u know, where Iraq is being occupied, muslims getting killed, oil is being taking, Lebanon and palastin. all this put pressure on some people, and some people can't take pressure. just like 9/11, many crazy people wanted to attack muslims just the day after 9/11.
just give it one month of so, and things hopefuly will calm down. hope u will be fine.

i am so sorry you are in such distress. the pope has done as much as he should - i don't believe he should have apologized at all. his speech upset them because he called them out - he spoke what no one else had the courage to say and they are acting like spoiled children or shall we say spoiled brats, always wanting to get their way.
i am truly sorry you are suffering and will pray for you all. your suffering will not go unnoticed - God is sharing with you. He holds those who suffer in His name so close - so close. in reading your post I ouldn't help but think of the Nazi's and how they kept those in Poland from attending services or mass. I truly am sorry you are being persecuted - keep the faith and God Bless you and yours.
"....Blessed are you that weep & mourn, for one day you shall laugh, and if wicked men insult & hate you all because of me , blessed, blesssed are you. Be not afraid, I go before you always, come follow me and I will give you rest."

You dont jeopardise the lives of innocent Muslim women and children
With prepared speeches that are designed to incite hatred against Islam and the Quran and Allah
And the Muslims and then apologise, when what you were really doing was telling George W Bush and his coalition that they should continue to bomb Muslim countries
And continue to murder innocent women and children and destroy their homes and their lives and livelihood
In the name of the Cross and democracy.
If the pope had written his speech on Yahoo Answers it would have been prevented from being submitted.
Pope should now declare his Church the Hoax that the Quran says it is.
