You need the specific breakdown HDL Good cholesterol scores and the LDL Bad cholesterol scores. and then the total score.

You'll find conflicting advise regarding cholesterol over the internet, be guided by your health care provider.
A family member recently had a Stroke early 50's caused by high LDL levels.
His overall Cholesterol score was 200 he was very fit, worked out daily, ate a healthy diet... a shock to him to find that his LDL blood fats are so high - it can be a heredity problem and he now takes statin medication and is on a recommended diet from his healthcare provider. he won't see a reduction in his LDL levels for at least a month. he's on intensive physio, gym routine, diet and medication.
Its going to take longer than a week to make any significant reduction dependant on your scores.
Good luck and stay healthy.

All these are post remedies. Focus should be on pro-active approach - 1. Drink lot of water 2. Have seasonal fruits and vegetable, which are fresh and Satvik 3. Have fibrous diet 4. Do jog/Exercises/Yoga i.e. combination of flexibility, stretching, muscle strength, cardio 5. Eat less and at fixed timings 6. Do Pranayam 7. Do Meditation 8. Control over sense and distraction 9. Have sound sleep - go to bed early and get up early too Question : Is this info (along with your question) is based upon your experience? What does + sign means? Do we need to mix it or use it separately? Thanks for sharing the information.

I suggest going on an essentially fat-free diet for the period before the test. That means completely devoid of fat:; no butter or oleo, no meat, no eggs, etc. This program should get your cholesterol under the 200 level unless you suffer from familial hypercholesterolemia, which is unlikely given your current 202.

that should be no problem, 202 is nothing. you could probably get it under 200 in a day or two, and test results arent even accurate to 2 points. just excercise (your body uses cholesterol and TGs as energy) and lay off high cholesterol foods like high % milk, eggs, and meat.
