Im 30, balding and living with my fat pregnant girlfriend who stinks like cheese and pickles
and I hate my job at the post office, and I got this weird bump on my neck thats starting to puss.

This is in interesting question because to some people a car is nothing more than an A to B. To these people, it will logically not mean a thing, however I think it says a lot if you are looking closely enough. An extremely clean car that may be old but looks brand new says that the person is meticulous about it and takes pride in their possessions (either that or they are sad and lonely).
A person who has one of those huge hummers with giant wheels would usually have some self esteem problems. And it goes further
Rolls Royce/Bentley=Classy/Rich
Sports car with a racing kit=adrenaline junkie
Focus=Practical
Beaten up old Punto=Person who doesn't care how it looks as long as it works/Poor

That I'd rather spend my hard earned on my house, than the car that I spend about 10 minutes a day in.

i drive a 69' beetle... i guess it says i'll stick with something and keep working on it and won't give up, no matter what happens..
and trust me.. lots can happen with an old car..

It says that I am thrifty, that I don't make as much as the gas company executives and that I LOVE to drive (vanity plate...yeah I am one of those dorks)
