So, you believe everything evolved from a big bang, well... where did the stuff come from that caused it? How did something come of nothing?
call me stupid but I believe there is a creator.

it's funny how athiests believe in nothing.they tell me i believe in fairytales and santa but i wonder if they've ever felt the touch of a baby that was just born and wonder if god exists.

The reason you think there has to be a creator, is because you think that everything must have a start and an end, the same as life on our planet.
The big bang theory is just that; a theory. Nothing has been, or can be, proven with the technology available to us.
There are some people who say that eventually, in billions and billions of years time, the black holes in the centre of the big galaxies will swallow the whole galaxy, compressing it into a point of infinite density.
Eventually, when the black holes have swallowed the galaxies they are in, they will start to swallow each other.
Then, gradually, the black holes will be merged into one black hole, with the whole of the universe compressed into a singular point of infinite density, and then, BANG, it starts all over again.
There are people who claim this has always been going on. It never started, and it will never end; it just is.
Hard to get your head round that, isn't it? I mean, how can something exist if it wasn't created or made?
Which is why so many of us believe in a creator; the simple answer being that most of us are unable to look outside the box, and we just compare everything to the way life works on our planet, ie it has to have a start and an end.
Certainly, to say it was all created by God is a lot easier for the majority of people to accept.

Well, try to look at it our way. How did God come to be? How could God come out of nothing? If a god (something we can neither prove nor disprove the existance of) could come out of nothing, why not the universe (which we all know exists)?
Nobody knows exactly how the universe came into existance, but since no matter which way you look at it, either "something" (the universe/God) came out of nothing or it was always there. Believers think it was God and that God created everything else. Us non-believers think it was the universe and that there is no God. We think there was no "middle-man".
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here.

5000 years ago, Buddha believe all "things" are created when there are suitable environment and reason. Today, scientic proof that to most extend, this is true. When Oxygen and hydragen came together, they become water. This is the "suitable environment and reason". In fact, in life, there are so many thing beyond explanation. Everyone have the right to believe what he/she want to believe. So, you are definitely not stupid.

The fool says in his heart that there is no GOD, however there is a GOD and HE can do anything but fail. HE created us from the dust of the earth and when we die, we shall go back to the dust we came from.
