I am 18 and have never had a girlfriend before. I have interest but I guess I am a bit shy on approaching a girl I have interest in. Are their specific places for young people to meet? AZ area?

Don't...be...shy...who will actually like a shy boy? and if u don't tell her how would she know u like her?? Please overcome ur shyness...i'm sure u will find a girlfriend soon. But don't settle down for somebody that u don't really like just b'cos u want to have a girlfriend. Wait for the right girl to come and be friends with her first before taking the relationship to the next level.

Not really...if you can hold on for 3 more years, when you turn 21, alcohol helps shy people become more confident (of course, you need to know your limit). Bars and Clubs are the best places to find someone who is looking for someone.

Dude. You need to be brave! Be confident! walk up to a girl and tell her that you like her, but play hard to get! she should be interseted. It's not all about looks. Girls like confident guys!
You are 18. Aim at 16 year old girls. if you go for older girls, they are less likely to go out with you. Younger girls generally like older guys.

I guess try the local dating websites. Bars, clubs, and so on. All you have to do is to be yourself, and there you have a good woman (hopefully).
