NO diet pills really work. Read the labels carefully...they ALL say the same thing. Something along the lines of "if you take this pill with a calorie-reduced diet and regular exercise, you MAY lose weight." Even the so-called natural ones carry dangers with them that are not worth it.

You must have the calorie-reduced diet and exercise, and those two things will be just as effective, if not MORE effective if you don't have the weird chemicals in diets pills coursing through your system, causing heart, kidney, and liver problems. At best, the pills are a waste of money. At worst, you can suffer really awful health problems.

There's only one safe way to lose weight effectively, and that is to eat a LITTLE less (by 200-400 calories) than the amount of calories you need to use in a day. If you eat too much less, you body goes into fat storage mode, and any attempts at starving yourself will backfire, as you will get fat quickly again when you start eating again. The diet pills can have the same effect, in that they stop your body from having a normal metabolism, which is really bad news for your health, even if you are exercising and eating healthy.

No diet pill is completely safe or free of side effects.

Stacker 3 contains chitosan, a substance found in the shells of lobsters and other sea creatures. Chitosan often causes a lot of unpleasant intestinal side effects, so that probably explains the cramping.

Not sure what formulation of Trimspa you took, therefore, I can't tell you what ingredient might have caused the cramping so you can avoid it in the future.

Is hoodia safe?

Scientific studies that looked at the safety of hoodia are inconclusive -- there is no definitive evidence supporting that hoodia is safe or unsafe.

As more people try hoodia, more info will be available as to hoodia's safety...and if hoodia actually works.

You could be a hoodia safety and effectiveness test subject...or you could lose the weight by more natural means and not have to worry about all this safety stuff.

Prescription diet pills are useful for severe obesity problems. These pills are regulated and their side effects are monitored. Some of these pills are Meridia (Sibutramine), Xenical (Orlistat), Adipex, Bontril, Didrex, Phentermine and Tenuate. Xenical is a lipase inhibitor, decreasing fat absorption by 30% resulting in a lower calorie intake. These pills will not be effective for losing weight , if a conventional weight loss plan is also not followed. Over the counter (OTC) diet pills are considered as food supplements, and their use is unregulated. However, these are very popular and people continue to use them without considering the adverse side effects. More information available at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspill.html

To be honest, the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy (watch your calorie intake, don't eat too much junk food, cut down on sugar and other simple carbs), exercise (30+ minutes, 5-7 days per week) and drink lots of water (if you exercise, more than the daily recommended 64oz!).

people react differently on diet pills. what works for your friend may not be the one for you. it also depends on your needs because there are supplements that are good for gym people. you have to avoid pills that contain ephedra/ephedrine, fenfluramine, caffeine or some energy stimulant, etc. some people use patches for losing weight. green tea also aids in weight loss. i know people who used hydroxycut, lipo-6, xenadrine to make their going to the gym more effective. always check your pulse when taking diet pills. not all diet pills are recommended for some people (medical history). not all that say natural ingredients are safe too. drink lots of water since most diet pills are diuretic so if you don't drink enough, you'll end up dehydrated.

Don't take diet pills, it's too dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i agree with "Gabi"
if you want to loose weight is to eat healthy, change the way you eat (no coke, no Mc Donald, no sugar ...) and do some exercises like riding bicycle or just walk on the street, in the park ...
but PLEASE no diet pills! You make yourself in danger!
