The best part of Ramadan WOULD be if all Muslim's were Believers as the Quran invites them and they followed the Quran and fasted during the proper month which is September and not create their own calendar. It is criminal once you read this verse of the Qur'an 9:37; "Altering the Sacred Months is a sign of excessive disbelief it augments the straying of those who have disbelieved. They alternate the Sacred Months and the regular months while preserving the number of months consecrated by Allah. They thus violate what Allah has consecrated. Their evil works are adorned in their eyes Allah does not guide the disbelieving people." So you have one billion people following something other than the Qur'an. Surah 2:189: "They ask you about the phases of the moon! Say, they provide a timing device for the people, and determine the time of Hajj." NOT RAMADAN!!!

the best part of ramadan is fasting of course, and then traweeh. last ten days of Ramadan are known to be the holiest. it is said that Quran was sent to Muhammad(PBUH) in a complete form during one of the odd# days during these last ten days. no one really knows which day is it. some ppl perform I'tiqaf. during this time, ppl isolate themselves from rest of the world, for ten days, and recite as much Quran as they can and perform prayers.
Ramadan itself, is one of the best months in Islamic calender but above are the things that make it even more unique.....

Ramadan is pretty hard... I'm not a muslim but i got friends who are... Some muslims dont even swallow there spit so they have to keep on spitting by the sink, trashcan, or by the street. They don't even get to taste water or even bathe in daylight... sick... but they really pig it out at night time... too bad they can't eat pork
