If a pople is considered to be a holy prophet, was pope urbanus also a holy prophet for Catholics?

Does the very idea of a Pope/Vicar of Christ on Earth, come from this notion that a pope is a Prophet? Is it still relevant until now?

Is it true that that there are TWO Popes? What is the other?

No, Catholic believe that the Pope is the pastor of the entire Catholic Church on Earth.

Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:17-19)

The Catholic Church believes the Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the "rock" of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock.

Pope Benedict XVI is the direct successor of Simon Peter.

There is only one Pope of the Catholic Church.

With love in Christ.

no that is not the idea. He is supposed to be the most holy person that follows the laws of GOD. and another mediator between Earth and Heaven in the catholic religion.
no not two just one in training just in case something happens to the elected one either temporary or permanent. and can either hold the office of pope until he dies or the conclave of bishops elect a new pope.
