Hey Pretty,
There is a cream available here in the US called:
Maderma
I have seen it available in most drug stores. It won't get rid of the scar, but it will lessen the appearance.
Ask the Pharmacist.

If your wound is already healed - scar, not so recent but not older than some months- then everything you can do alone, that helps a lot to prevent a thick wound is to get an polyurethane sponge ( just a bath sponge, synthetic ) cut a piece that covers the scar, and after get an elastic bandage.
You will have to measure the bandage according to the place the wound is located, to be some tight, not to much. Make a “bracelet" with it and stitch it carefully. Set the sponge straight over the scar, put the band over it - closure outside - and let it work for some month.
In this way, if you wash your scar every day, put any moisturizer over it and keep it covered with the light compression, the healing will be optimum and will get almost unnoticeable. Do not expose the scar to the sun for a year, it will save you a darker area very difficult to modify later. Using the bandage, I recommend you or eventually a sun blocker 50 or 60 over it will avoid you this very frequent complication.
In case that the burn is recent, very extended and you want fast results, sorry: there is no much you can do but to visit a plastic surgeon. Anything else will just delay the wound closure and you may risk getting an infection. The specialist will be able to determine the deep of the scar and the chances you have to heal without the help of a skin graft, or other techniques.
In case that you have an old scar in your leg, then removing it is the only solution, once more, depending on the extension of your scar, sometimes is better just to conceal it with an special make up pretty thick instead to get another surgery ( and new scars )
For concluding, if your scar is old consulting a dermatologist is a good idea in order to improve aesthetically the problem avoiding surgery.
Please, before putting any substance in a burn “recent” wound, get a consultancy with a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. Trust me, is the best you can do for yourself.

One thing you can do is to take a 400 IU softgel of Vitamin E, then CAREFULLY poke a hole in it. Squeeze out the oil and spread it out evenly onto the affected area. If you have more than one area that's been affected, spread out the amount that's used evenly to each area. One important point that none of the others have mentioned is that you should NOT use too much Vitamin E... it is fantastic for healing up skin and preventing scars, but too much vitamin E can build up to toxic levels in your body. If you get a liquid Vitamin E, make sure you follow the recommendations on the limits (typically no more than 1,000 IU per day including supplements taken internally). If it is too sensitive to massage an oil on it, try soaking it in Aloe until it feels good enough to massage the Vitamin E in. Also, if you would like more benefits, there are some supplements you could take internally to help the health of your skin. Some of the most popular ones are Biotin, Silica (commonly from Horsetail), Squalene, Hyaluronic Acid, MSM, L-Cysteine, Collagen, and most antioxidants. Good luck!

You can't remove a scar, but you can improve the appearance. The best way is by hydrating it. You can do this cheaply by massaging in some aqueous cream 2-3x daily, but slightly more expensive (and in my opinion - better) is emu oil, again massaged in 2-3x daily. You can also use silicon based dressings which seem effective in reducing scar tissue. You can buy these over the counter (quite expensive), or get them on prescription. Finally, there are surgical options, especially if the scar is tight, but I would leave this as a last resort.

Dear, why do you want to remove it? Trust me, most guys doesn't care about scar. Even if you have a incredible sweet personality and you're beautiful all over but have big scar on your face, guys will stil like you. This is coming from a guy who is extremely picky about who he's going out with.
