I've heard many fathers of tomboys say that having a tomoy for a daughter is almost like having a son. Do you see it that way?

What are you worried about, her becoming a Dyke? It is up to the parents to nurture their children and introduce the quality of life you want for them.

If they do not like ballet, but would prefer to play soccer, why knock them back? They are children and any type of physical recreation is to be promoted. It builds team skills, discipline, respect etc. This is about preparing them for entry into the Adult World.

That is the best thing to happen, the father feels closer to the child and the child has more fun that way.

yes... my husband said that our daughter is going to know how to shoot a gun by 8 years old ( we are both CCW holders)
