Gosh Im 30 and my dad still doesn't want me to wear a two-piece at the beach cuz he doesn't like guys checking me out!

I mean of course I wear it when hes not around but I try not to delibaretly disobey him when he is around. At what age should dads stop being so protective?

I don't know. I'm 39 and my stepdad is more protective than he was when I was a teen.

I am a Dad of two lovely daughters aged 33 and 30 yrs. They are both doing excellent jobs and have great careers. Yet when they are travelling on business I have to talk to them once a day atleast and check whether they are OK, eating well etc. I do not think this will change as long as I am alive.

When you used the word "men", people would realize that u are having a sex role issue. Remember honey, he's ur father. To him, u'll always be daddy's little girl no matter how old u become. If u ask me, a one-piece is more elegant and classy than a two-piece. It shows the long leg.

When the time comes that your father quits being protective you will wish he was still around to be protective because a father loves until he dead.

I don't have any daughters, only sons, but if I did have daughters I'd probably be worse than he is.

It's very normal for a dad to want to protect his little girl, and you'll always be his little girl.

I'd say, they day they become an adult... but, that's not gonna happen. As long as there are daughters... fathers will be completely over-protective of them until the day they die... and probably even after that...

i guess..dad would stop concern about their daughter once she was married..as long as shes not..dad should concern of their daughter..for she is a woman and bad things could happened to her easily..woman is much weaker than a man..she could get raped or robed..so once daughter married, she could have husband that will protect her against any danger in her future life..
