fred,
But He plainly says here in the Revelation Who He is, "I am He that was, He that is, and He that is to come, the Almighty." We'll get it a little later here, said, "I am Alpha and Omega (A to Z, the whole--that Greek alphabet.), the Lily of the Valley, the Rose of Sharon, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, He that was, which is, and shall come, the Root and Offspring of David." He's God. I Timothy 3:16, "Without contradiction great is the mystery of godliness: For God was manifested in flesh, seen of angels, believed on in the world, received up into glory." God, not a third person or a prophet, but God Himself made manifest in human form. Now, this is a revelation, remember.
And these Greeks had heard, and no doubt had been reading the Old Testament. And they had heard about the coming Messiah and what He should be when He arrived. And they had longed to see what God would be when He would be manifested in the flesh, what a man would look like that would be filled to the capacity until the Fullness of the Godhead would be in Him. What would He be? And they'd heard about Jesus that claimed to be this Person, the Messiah, that the Jews for thousands of years had looked for this coming One, where God himself would be made human in the form of His Son in order to bleed and die, for there was no man could die for the other, because we were all guilty together.

Jesus Christ: The Son of God
John 1:1-2; 10:27-30
Have you ever heard someone deny that Jesus claimed to be God? Such a statement simply doesn’t make sense. Repeatedly, Jesus placed Himself on equal footing with the Father and the Holy Spirit (John 10:30; 14:6-14). Scripture gives us a clear picture of His eternal, intimate relationship with the heavenly Father.
Why is it important for us to believe this? Jesus did something that had never been done before: He enabled men and women to see God in a new way. In Colossians 1:15, Paul explains that Jesus is the “image of the invisible God.” No one has ever looked upon the face of the Almighty.
In the Old Testament, some people were confronted with God. But they were never able to look fully upon His glory. For example, even Moses, who is described as God’s friend (Exodus 33:11), could not look directly at God. At best, Moses had the opportunity to look upon “God’s back” as He passed by. But, he never saw His face (Exodus 33:18-23).
Jesus, however, came to bridge the gap between God’s glory and mankind’s sinful nature. In the original Greek text, the word for “image” is directly related to the English word “icon.” Just as an icon on your computer screen directs you to the main program, Jesus directs believers to the fullness of God’s glory.
As the “icon,” Jesus is the exact, flawless replica of God. For that reason, Jesus could say, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). What has Jesus taught you about the Father? How can you share that insight with someone today?

im a god, but see im more of a party god than the serious one, and you need to look at the bigger picture, everything you read is either a first or second hand account of a certain event, even in fiction thats how it is. so unless you were there you really can't say that the event actually happened, you probably watch the news but you can't tell if they are making it up or if something actually happened unless you actually go to the scene of the event and see it happen. lets scale that down a little bit, if you go to fast food restaraunt and you order your food to go, say you ordered large fries and a burger, now lets also say that you get a coke and can't open the bag that holds your food until you get to the car cause youre in a hurry and you only have one hand and can't check whats in the bag, so you have to take it on faith that the place got your order right. so you get to the car and you put your drink in some kind of cup holder and you reach inside the bag and you pull out your fries and burger and have your little bit of heaven. you didn't know that what was in the bag was your order until you looked inside. for people with religion its the same way, god gives you life, thats your fries and burger, and you don't get to open the bag and see whats inside and if your orders right until you die, so the guess that a lot of people try to make is if their order is right or not. and people try not to just guess they try to make educated guesses so they dig into history, to see how their burger is made, and by seeing how their burger was made they can tell if their order was correct. but here is the thing, you can't tell if you got your order right before you open the bag unless you back to the source ask.

God is not a person. God is unseen and i don't think anyone knows how he looks. Jesus wasn't the son of God he was a prophet and so was Muhammed, Abraham etc...

God takes the form of a donut. I am as the circle, with no beginning and no end. I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am Way and the Light. Thou shalt have no other donuts before me.

Hi!
Ok!Let's try this if history is not enough to convince you that there's God.
Why is it that, millions of scientists, engineers, doctors, accountants, and other professionals flock to church every Week...They are intelligent people who discovered reality. For some reason, their education did not blind them not to see the truth...Could it be there's something you're missing here?
Let's talk!Hug!

Sorry, you are lost in the Matrix. It's all just dreams. Nothing is real. Nice dialog, but the whole topic seems so absurd to me I am unable to respond to your eloquent inquiry.
