I guess the right time is when you feel you need your own place, to have privacy for whatever stuff you want or need to do, when you feel you're abusing your parents by using space they want for something else, and this last statement might sound weird, but we are five in our two-bedrom apartment, one for my mom and her husband, and the other for my two brothers and me. Whenever I tell my mom that we should move to a bigger place she laughs at me and says "what? you want your own room?" which i've never in my life had, I've always had to share with my bro or my granny or with more people, and she always tells me that she doesn't need a bigger place cause she has enough privacy in her bedroom and she expects me (23) and my brother (19) to move out soon, and live in her place with her 11 year old son and her husband, a 2-bedroom apartment is more than enough for that. Anyway, if you feel you should move out, why don't you do it and enjoy both the pleasure and the struggle of living alone, or with your sweetlove, and away from mom and dad. f you want to do it, you should give it a try, and if you don't like it, sure your parents will be ready to let you bak into their house.

only you know when the time is right, the fact you are asking means you are probably thinking about it now. Ask yourself why you stayed so long in the first place, do you feel obligated to your parents. are they sick, do they need help with their income, or did you stay because it suited you emotionally and financially. These are all factors in making the choice that you are thinking of making. Nothing wrong with living with mum and Dad for how ever long, they are not hassling you about moving i am guessing? if it works, and both parties are happy then why move at all, if it is becoming an issue move out before it becomes a Mountain instead of a mole hill.

if your happy living at home, why move out? if your parents are cool with it I wouldn't worry about it. tv/papers are always saying kids are staying at home a lot longer than what they used too. If the only reason you want' to move out is because of what other people think, forget them.

You may have missed the most opportune moment. If you are ready now, go for it. Your parents are getting older and at some point they may be reliant on you for care. Get yourself established as a responsible adult. Later when they need help, you'll be in a better position to do it and keep yourself healthy, too.

You should have left about 15 years ago. I feel sorry for your poor parents.
They have probably considered buying a house to get rid of you. I thought I had problems with mine. You are messing up the golden years for them.

oh my god honi if you can afford it move out soon, you wont know your self until you do.
Its a great experience, freeing in ways only you will discover.
Being in your own space is a great way to be your self, in joy your friends, dinner dates, barbies, total control of your self and become the responsible person that you want to be.
