Dude, what do you consider as a religion, the one that is taught to you as a dictat from some priests or others blindly following some kind of a code. No , the religion is trulely the faith of a person in the supernatural. Its all what you believe in as long you have one. The belief in the supernatural in whatever way that do not cause another person even a bit of inconvinience is religion. All these crusades and Jihads are only a mean to have one's own selfish ends. Choice is yours which one you believe in.

Our trust is in God who is merciful, generous, & good! It requires the gift of faith to connect with this Divine Community.

Not all religious people forget who they are: sinners, broken, weak, falible, magnificent, joyful, ordinary human beings.

Some religious folks do not betray Jesus. :) Through the way they live & indeed treat others as if they were Jesus in the flesh shows that they are living witnesses of God's presence among us.

I would hope that you wouldn't give up on people of faith. :)

NO
NO
NO

Jesus was NOT betrayed by religious people.
He was not betrayed by anyone.
He was executed under Roman law for sedition....
the Jews of that time and the few followers of Jesus had NOTHING to do with the arrest, trial, execution...
ROMAN LAW

from a "religious" point of view....if there had been no "betrayal"...there would have been
no trial...and therefore
no execution...which means that there would have been
NO RESURRECTION !!!...and therefore,
NO CHRISTIANITY !!!!

all religion is ...is faith...beliefs....trust...
there is no fact, evidence, empirical proof for any belief system

that's why it's called "faith"

I think religion is used alot of the time to make people feel superior, which makes others feel like they are being treated inferior. I think religion can't be trusted. It is used and twisted to mean whatever a certain cult wants it to convey to their benefit. If only they could just do what they want to do and leave others to do their thing it wouldn't be so hard to take. Everyone trying to push their religious beliefs on others - just not right.
