Ok, so here's the deal. I've known this guy for since December... and we hang out a lot, and also keep each other company while we suffer through our homework (which is a ton). Now over the the spring semester and summer we got pretty close. And I've realized that I definitely have more feelings for him than just a friend. Like when we are standing or siting next to each other...there is no such thing as too close with him in my mind. And we have a really awesome time whenever we are together (biking, walking, dinner, movies, even homework) So I have been trying to figure out how to bring it up with him. I do not want to lose this great friendship that we have, but I would really love it if this turned into a relationship. and the problem is that sometimes i get the feeling that he feels the same way, but i dont know if its just in my head. Got any advice for me? I feel torn

this is always a difficult situation but not an uncommon one. the best way to approach this is to be honest with your friend. Do not make any passes as this could lead to a very awkward moment and a lot of repair to put it right. Explain the feelings you have but tell him there is no pressure, you would love it if he felt the same but if he didn't you just needed to tell him how you feel. reassure him that it wont effect your friendship if he doesn't feel the same. You may fine he has been trying to do the same, and I hope for you that is the case but if not, enjoy the wonderful bond you have as friends and forget ideas about been lovers. Friendship is a wonderful thing when you have one like the two of you have, cherish it and look after it and if you become lovers, don't forget that he is still your best friend too.

Well the biggest problem you face is how does he feel.
Look at it like this he's spending all this time with you right well if he was not interested in you his time would be spent with sue or sally, but he choose you. since he's not man enoough to step up cause he's wandering what you're thinking since you're not moving in his head nor will he. So just tell him how you feel or you could lose your window of oppurtunity and him his.

i am in exact same situation right now.....tell him that you like him and if you get no response, tell him it was a joke and now you know how he feels, or it would be great if he also likes you. good luck!!
