Why was you showing him your butt? I not real sure on this. May be it be rude if he said it looked like a elephant's butt. But, as stated about anyone besides the husband saying it is rude is a good idea too. It, just depends on why you were showing him your butt, I guess.

my roommate is a priest and he was just caressing his boyfriend's butt as he was standing out on the balcony having a smoke.
it didn't bother me at all.
