The saber rattling is getting louder, and the fictional prenouncements are getting more shirl every day. The idea that Iran can hit the United States with a missle is perposterious. They can't get even successfully shoot a short range missle and make it work right.
Our whole military rational is just simply stupid. We can not start a nuclear war, and we can not win a gurrella war. The only kind of War we can fight is a defensive war. The idea of a preemptive war is also perposterious. We have showed the world that with the Iraq war. And now we are threatening to lose the Afgan. War. Lord, how did we get so many lop-headed leaders?

But, I think it will bomb in Nov. UNLESS the evoting is as screwed up as it was in the primaries. There is no accountablity. Every single agency was staffed according to their loyalty to BushCo.
Follow the MONEY, they are swift boating investigative reporters now , starting diversionary fires....it reads EXACTLY the same as the lead up to Iraq.
Olberman is constatnly attacked by O'Riley and now David Corn has come under the focus of the Political bot; Robert Novack. It is a diversionary tactic that they have used to great effect in the past.
Those that dissent get spammed, hacked, and generally messed with. I see this on all parts of the net, from blogs to chats.
The medium had become the bully pulpit message, and their tactics are far from Moral.
They are scrambling to cover their butts on everythng from Haliburtons exclusive contracts in Iraq, to torturing or arresting and then sending American and Canadian citizens to prisons in foreigh countries to be tortured.
I watched an American President act like a spoiled 4 yr old at a press conference because Congress was Slow to grant him the retroactive right to ignore the Geneva Convention.
They are in a desperate place, and they fight Very dirty.
Reading about the nasty goings on at HP kind of got my attention..Software surreptitiously planted on HP computers selectively spied on and unspecified number of individuals, coincidentlally my HP computer got seriously hacked.
Coincidence? Possibly.

The war in Iraq and Afganistan has made use weaker by making us look weak. Bush made a terrible mistake going into Iraq without defeating the terrorists first. Now the terrorist are comming to us in Iraq which shows that we didn't take the war to them effectively.
If we now go into Iran the world will look down on us and we will get many more countries against us.

Yes, as we speak. But it's not Iran, like many think. They already have that straw man complete. The Hezbollah, is in the final stages of completion, as is North Korea. Venezuela, or Cuba may be the next. Or some other country we haven't really given much thought to.

No. They're not going to try the same trick twice. Unless it's the trick of a terrorist event that takes American lives. I do believe something like that will happen within two or three weeks of the mid-term elections. Sweep those Republicans back to Congress and justify military action in one fell swoop. Their scripts are sooooo Machiavellian.
