It took me years to realize that yawning for me meant the oncoming of an asthma attack. generally i will start up yawning each and every minute or much less, and replaced into questioning why i replaced into so drained, and then have an asthma attack, and that i presumed i replaced into having the attack simply by fact i replaced into purely drained or under pressure. I even have come to realize that it extremely is a warning that i'm having hardship respiration, and pushing out the stale air, and it has helped me evade some nasty, frightening assaults.

Just before sleep or after sleep, respirations are shallow. But after repeated shallow breathings body requires more oxygen and has to send out more carbon di oxide. A yawn is a reflexly dictated natural deep breating in breathing out.

I heard it has somthing to do with the lack of Oxygen that your getting to your brain at the time you yawn. But I'm not sure if thats true.

i don't know exactly, i've heard that it is from when your body feels like it hasn't taken in enough oxygen, like when you're sleepy you tend to take shorter breaths. that's what i've always thought, i have no idea about chain yawning though, why the heck do we have to yawn when we see somebody else yawn?

Generally people yawn because they are either hungry or tierd. Also yawning is addictive so if you see someone yawning you will yawn too.

When the body is tired, it feels the need for extra oxygen, so you yawn!
