Anyone who can go and watch any of the great apes for a substantial length of time, and still claim that we're not related to them by common descent, is either a liar or a fool.

The 'criteria' of God's creation is that all life on earth has to comply with the existing conditions. Breathing oxygen, moving against gravity, being dextrous. We are designed to walk upright, but not climb like apes. We both breathe oxygen. We have a thinking brain. Apes have just enough to 'get them by'. Their idea of an invention is to poke a stick into an ant nest, have the ants crawl on thye stick, withdraw it and then eat them off the stick. They do not need clothes due to their fur. We do not have fur. The similarities are there but the differences are greater.

I dont think that we are "so much like apes." We might have some things or attributes in common but i dont think that God intended us to look the same. Also, according to the story of creation, we are God's first creation after the earth so if that's the case, the apes are the ones who God made to look like us.

Well all I have to say is I don't look like an ape. God created us in his image. Are you saying God looks like an ape? That has never been a test of my faith.

Have you seen apes in zoos? They fling their feces everywhere and we, well a portion of us, find it funny don't it? Why do we find it funny? It's because we have this odd little notion that we're better than apes, and according to religious texts, God or however you call it IS better than humans. And THAT'S why God made us look like apes, because we make God laugh. If you've seen the partisan hackery that's politics, it's kinda like apes throwing poop at each other, except we're in suits and we're better at it.

perhaps He made them look like us???. This is just my speculation, but i think God developed DNA then He played with it, and created several different organisms and man was His last one. No doubt He used information from earlier created organisms, much from the ape experament. We do not need to know unless we have little faith. If Faith can be measured then perhaps as you suggest some things are here to help us grow our faith.

Scientists recently discovered apes have a network similar to the Internet. And, in decoding the messages, discovered that some apes are asking, "if evolution is true, why are there still humans?"

I hate to break it to you, but, you don't look much like an ape or a monkey. No one in my family has ever looked like an ape any part of the monkey family. Why must non-believers believe we evolved from monkeys. Is it a curse or something? Do they have that much self dislike that they want to think they are monkeys? Or is it a sense of doom or hopelessness? Why be this way when you don't have to be. When you can have inner peace?

Personally, I don't look like an ape. If you think you look like an ape, you need some help. And by the way, how do you know it wasn't the other way around and GOD made apes to look like us? Think about it.
