When I first started drinking no more then a few year ago, I couldn't really handle a shot, now I can drink a full fifth of liquor. Is this bad health sign?

alcohol tolerance in and of itself isn't a bad thing. drinking too much is. there are lots of health problems associated with heavy drinking. if you are drinking a fifth a day then you might want to consider drinking a little less which will bring down your tolerance too.

High alcohol tolerance means that you're getting used to it. Now, it takes a lot more alcohol for you to feel the effects of being drunk. In some ways, this can be good since you retain more sense drinking your previous levels. But it makes for an expensive evening. Most importantly, while the rest of your body is developing a tolerance for alcohol, your liver is not. IF your liver gets overloaded, that can lead to some bad stuff.
I love being a cheap drunk. So, when my tolerance rises too high, I usually take a break from drinking. It gives my body some time to recover: my liver gets a break, and my tolerance goes down. Which is cheaper for me, and means more buzztime for less alcohol.

It's bad if you keep drinking so much alcohol! I'm not going to say you can't drink, but if you're going to drink so much that you lose your liver in less than a year or two, then that's a serious problem.

I would say yes. If you are drinking to get wasted then you've become immune to that type of alcohol. Try another, Tequila is always a kicker. If you just like to get a buzz and be social, try mixed drinks, a white russian is delicious but costly. Please don't drink and drive though, be safe and enjoy your time, OK.

Yeah it seems. Look in your family roots did you have any alcoholics? I would either stop or just bring how much your drinking way down.

Whoever the question is being asked for already knows their liver is fried. Is the face bright red like Santa's also? Take the keys from whoever it is before they kill someone.
