I come to know my religion when I was 14 years old. I followed it because my parents ask me to do so,they told me otherwise i'll be punish by the god. Later stage I come to know the Bible is full of fairy tale crap. Like the Nova ship , The Gods creation of the world and men , Jesus magic which makes me to think reality than the magic in it. When i reach my higher education , learning Charles Darwin and other scientific teaching's I thought why the other stupid ed0ts cannot think beyond the bible and accept science theories. Currently i see a lot of stupidity is happining around the world because of religion and its followersextremist. Religion has become a ego of each and everybody daily life. Stupid religion books can create a dedly man to blast himself in front of a school of other religion people. This is all because we follow the parents beliefs and without questioning them we will continue to think inside that box. The box is Our parents religous beliefs. Later we will continue

It is very difficult for me to type and give you a round of applause at the same time. Like Richard Dawkins says, when we are born we are automatically given a label . Christian, Muslim Jew etc. Some societies drill their religion into their kids. Here in UK kids make their own minds up ( apart from the handful of evangelists, Plymouth Brethren etc) .
I looked at both sides of the argument very carefully. At 33 I think you can make your own mind up.
Maybe a couple of videos might interest you. They were originally shown as TV programmes here in UK.

Oh you're not a Christian in the first place. As far as religion goes - you can have any kind you like - there's a smorgasboard of them out there for every taste and desire. You've got the wrong idea if you think true Christianity is a religion. What you're describing is not me and the folks I know who are Christians that's for sure. I came from the opposite background from you and came up with the opposite conclusions. Your parents and their faith can't make you a Christian or put you "in a box" anymore than you can change the constellations in the sky. You're not an adult male Christian, you're an adult, male atheist - that's what Charles Darwin was - you have some deep rooted feelings about things and some issues with your parents. The whole theory of evolution was started to give people who didn't believe in God something to believe as far as the origins of the universe. Atheism is a religion and it think that's what you are. You're actually not a believer in God - and that's where you're at - nothing wrong with that. One other question - have you actually read your bible ever? I wouldn't say such negative things about something you haven't bothered to read.

Dude i agree.....but since you said your self that you read Darwin, and it made some sense.......i take you to be a man of reason and logic who would only be convinced if presented by solid logical arguments and proofs in support of any ideolgy, be it Islam, Christianity, or Atheiasm.

Hence my advice to you is that you have been a christian, and know about christianity, now take your time out and study the religon of Islam, without bias. Directly from the Quran. Study it, ask question which come to your mind on (mustafahasn@yahoo.com). Then if you feel that it is all crap and doesnt make sense, then go ahead, be an atheist, or what ever you want to be. But my only request is, before deciding on your ideology, study all the ones that are out there.......That is the most scientific approach, eliminate all possiblities before testing a hypothisis. That is all what i am asking you to do. May God bless you and help you find the true path.

(Ezekiel 18:4) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.
God does not punish. What we did wrong in this life is paid for by our death.
If you wish to find a religion that is truly peaceful, anmd not based on any 'revenge', then simply walk into the closest KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAHS WITNESSES and listen to a public talk. No monies are collected. No pressure is applied. Notice how the whole religion is Bible based, and not tied down with TRADITIONAL TEACHING.
You have nothing to lose.

LET ME SAY i AM SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU. iT IS GOOD THAT YOU STUDIED, AND YES THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY HAVE SOME KIND OF RELATIONSHIP WITH gOD AND DO BAD THINGS. i AM ASHAMED OF THEM.

i SUGEST THAT ANY GOOD DECISIOnS TAKES STUDY OF TWO SIDES OF A QUEsTION.. yOU SAID YOU STUDIED THE NON gOD SIDE.

pERHAPS NOW WITHOUT THE PARENTS TELLING YOU THIS OR THAT OPPS you should also study the Holy writtings to see if maybe these bad people are actually people that God too is ashamed of. Do not let others tell you what God says. Read the Bible for yourself in an easy read translation and truly make a decision that has study on both sides.

Like you I had parents who filled my ears with crapp so I would do what they wanted but I was raised in a house of atheism and science that now new scientists say was wrong.

so i encourage you to check out both sides for yourself and remember you never know who is lieing to you or for what selfish reason they do it. that may include school teachers who may be paid by people who want you to do as they say much like your parents.

If you want to change your religion, then research and try to find one that more appropriately suits your beliefs. However, it sounds as though you have no desire to actually CHANGE your religion, you actually want to abandon it, as your question expresses a great level of disdain towards any kind of religion (I'm not criticizing, I understand the sentiment).

That said, your next step should be to stop going to church (if you haven't already) and start doing research about different religions and their effects on society. Don't just focus on the bad things, but try to be balanced. Keep an open mind, and try not to let your anger towards the religion your parents forced upon you make you angry towards all religions. Also understand that keeping an open mind to religion also means keeping an open mind to the other options of theism, agnosticism, and atheism. Explore your options -- knowledge is the most valuable posession a human can hope to attain.

Good luck!

1 - logic systems, like religion, break down at a certain point.

2 - Do you believe in God?

3 - Do you believe he created the universe?

4 - If you are a Christian, do you believe Jesus is the Son of God and part of the Holy Trinity? (if you can't answer yes to this one, you are not a Christian.)

5 - Can you divorce youself from religion and realize the religion is a conduit to God?

Your "higher education?" Of what? Fourth grade literacy? Dude, my 5th graders can make more sense than you.

And this "stupidity" you mention.. Could it be that it comes from people like you that claim to know it all but have a time in hell backing it up because they're too idiotic to make any sense in the first place? Come on man, if you want people to take you seriously, you need to, at the very least, spell like it. I mean, you claim you're 33, but you act more like one of my other students in 2nd grade.

I'm sorry... I usually don't bash, but I couldn't help it this time.. You were totally begging for a thwacking...

Grow up. Repost when you learn how to type.

Seek and ye shall find...the Bible says. You will hear that voice. Follow your heart and read the Bible and do as the Bible says. The 10 commandments is a guide for us to follow as well. All 10 are to be kept.."If ye love me keep my commandments"."John 14:15.
Listen to that voice of God and read the Bible each day. You know deep down in your heart that the Bible is true and correct. Please do not stray from the Word of God. You can find your own faith if you don't like what your parents go to..go church to church and read the Bible. I think you heart will lead you to one with the help of Jesus. You will know. He will be your guide.

You've already renounced you're religion. Try looking inward to find what you want for yourself. Give the mission you're on a little break, say about a week, then look inside and figure out who you are. I strongly advise staying away from all conventional religions while pondering your own mysteries.
