I haven't read that book but I am reading "The Case for a Creator".

I am Catholic and I don't just go to church and read the bible. I study the early fathers of the church, I read about the history of the papacy and letters from popes, lives of saints, and do many bible studies. With 14 years of reading, praying and discerning, my faith tells me that God, the Holy Trinity are real and that the gospels are accurate accounts of Jesus' life. I'll never meet God in person while I am on earth but I have faith that some day I might in Heaven.

After I finish this book I'll pick up the case for Christ. Sorry I can't answer your questions above.
