shes embarrased to go to the doctor and im getting worried for her because she showed me and some white stuff comes out!!!what is wrong?????

sounds like it is infected. she needs to make sure to keep it clean and dry. have her clean it with peroxide and then put a cotton ball in there to make sure it is dry. if it doesn't get better then she needs to go see her doctor.
nothing to be embarrassed about, it happens to a lot of people especially in the summer months.

Tell your friend it's not that serious. She just needs to get a q-tip and rub it around the hole with alcohol or peroxide but tell her not to push the q-tip in too far. After a few days the irritation and pus will stop and then from there on, just tell her to wash her belly button when she showers with a little bit of soap and just the tip of her finger. It's good to clean the hole after the shower with a q-tip just like you would your ears, and being careful not to push it in so as not to cause more infection.

Belly button only smells when it is not cleaned or infected. Have she tried cleaning it up with cotton bud dipped with antiseptic lotion or clinical alcohol?
If the whitish stuff still persist, do see a doctor and get some antibiotic powder to sprinkle onto.

is she very overweight? or maybe she simply has a very deep navel, yes they get infected if they are deep and that can be a problem, she should lay down and pour a capful of peroxide in her navel after her bath, and then she should use a q tip to dry it out deep inside, and then another qtip with some antibiotic ointment like bacitracin to treat the infection. it should clear up unless she has really gotten something nasty. good luck

She probably has some type of infection, perhaps a yeast infection. I would go to the doctor!

just take her to the doctor.. that's what they're here for .. embarrassing stuff.. he cant send her away so she'lljust come out of the doctors with less to worry about..

Well your friend has to see her family doctor because its probably infected, make her go she can end up with an intestinal infection.

definately needs to see a doctor, and not be embarrassed. he will not be shocked in the least; he has seen MUCH worse. it's his job. and he can get it cleared up right away.
