Doing some research, I occasionally heard references to "The Old Ones". Is anyone sure who they are? Or which mythology they were in? Sopposedly, I know that they were once like us, but evolved beyond bodies, as we would understand them.

the OLD ONES is mostly from the necronomicron (turns out its fake btw) and from the imagination of HP Lovecraft.

addition: the necronomican (which is NOT very old) used some characters names from ancient sumerian mythology... thats the oldest thing you can say about the "old ones" tale

My kids refer to me as "The Old One". Actually, it sounds Native American. Referring to people who were in North America before the tribes knowledge of who they were.

I know who the "Old Ones" are. I hear it quite often from family that I am one of them. My brother is the other one. Don't tell him tho. I don't think he knows it yet. LOL
