Please only speak from experience. I have thick curly hair and am always experimenting with different frizz fighting products.

What best tames your locks? Creams, serums, conditioners, anything please.

John Frieda's Frizzease is the absolute best. Inexpensive too, get it at Target.
Try, "Refresh" conditioner (I love this stuff), Extra Strength Serum, and "Secret Weapon" (it works on dry hair for touchups, hurray!). They are my hair care trinity. Also try "Downplay" on damp hair. Wonderful, even better than the serum.
My hair has never been so soft, shiney, and "well behaved"
Gee, do I sound like a commercial or what?

Yup, I'm in the same club as you girl...thick curly hair! I have tried a bunch of different things, but I find that Frizz Ease products help, also being able to blowdry your hair the correct way, to minimize the frizz helps. I like the olive oil idea...I should try that!

Cheapest, honest-to-God-cure-all? Olive oil. Why do you think Greek women have such beautiful hair! Get a spray bottle from the dollar store. Mix olive oil with water, depending on how much conditioning you need : experiment, whatever ( less conditioning, less olive oil) Spray it on your hair, and either leave in overnight or wash out or comb out, depending upon how much conditioning you need. If all you need is a little frizz fighter, then just put a dab in you palm, rub your palms together well, and massage thru your your hair like you would those expensive frizz fighters.

MY hair is terrible very frizzy, fro-ish, and just all together not naturally great curls. I tried Friss-eaze DIDNT WORK!! I also tried vo5, bed head, redken, and numerous other products. The absolute best thing I found so far is pantene Pro-V hydrating curls shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, a little bit of any brand mousse, and pantene hydrating curls hairspray. start with wet hair than AIR DRY!!! It sounds weird but it is the only thing that has worked for me! I really hope it works for you!!!!!!

john frieda's frizz ease is awesome.. just be careful.. follow the instructions, if you use more than they suggest, your hair just ends up looking greasy.. but if you use the amount they suggest it comes out looking really good. they have a whole line of products
