On your IE Menu, click Tools, Click Manage Add Ons, and make sure that your Adobe utility is Enabled to activate the add-on. Click UPDATE to have the PDF reader add-on go to its current version.

The problem is not opening the .pdf files? have you checked the settings of your browser? try opening the same mail with pdf attached file in another browser (Netscape/ firefox etc). If you are still unable to download/ open these files, then reinstall acrobat reader as suggested by the answerers.

Have you install the adobe reader? If not, download this free from adobe.com and see this fixes the problem you are having. If you already have it, install the newest version of adobe reader. You are getting the error message because the version you may have on your pc is not functional or in some ways corrupted.

You might want to try downloading and reinstalling the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do you should uninstall it first.

may have restored lost the dl file or something Ive had it to happen alot programs will take the parts of other program to run and when you unistall it the part you need to run the main file is missing hope this will do

You need Acrobat or Acrobat reader. go to adobe.com. If you already have it, try un-installing it and downloading the latest version. That should most likely fix your problem.

Download and install Acrobat Reader again (if you have it already) from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Alternatively you could try right click and choose Save As... from menu

do you have the proper software for pdf viewing? or if anything delete your pdf viewing software and re-download it from the adobe software website.
