Do they change them to give other planes a more direct route, or does it depend on the weather etc This isn’t a need to know question its a want to know as recently we have had planes coming over our house (they never did a year ago, and there not practically annoying because there still quite high up) I’m just nosey but id like to know if others know why this is.

THE BASIC SET OF FLIGHT PATHS NEVER CHANGE . NEW AND REVISED PATHS ARE ADDED TO COPE WITH NEW CARRIERS GO TO NEW DESTINATIONS OR INCREASING THERE DESTINATIONS. THE AIRCRAFT YOU SEE COULD BE DUE TO THIS.

Same happened to me !
Where I live they have just expanded the airport by adding a new runway.
This means that planes fly very low at night over the house and no-one informed any of the residents of this proposal.
No-one is kicking up a fuss and I don't care cos I'm moving anyway but you'd think you'd be notified or something wouldn't you?
