Saucy Latina has the right idea. Tears do contain protien as well as several other chemicals found almost exclusively in them. so your only solution is to take 'em out and clean 'em. Or better yet when you start to cry switch over to your glasses. Besides what's a cute emicon like you got to cry about?

Tears contain protein that cling to the contacts. If you happen to cry for whatever reason, take them out and let them soak for a couple of hours. Try using a no rub solution, this will help them last longer.

Perhaps your contacts don't quite fit you right. There could be a gap between your eye and contact. Speak to your optometrist about it.
