You really can't make him do what he does want to do
Maybe have someone explains it's unhealthily to be overweight
How old is he and how often does he go to MacDonald
Try getting to less there and try get him to eat more at healthily foods Being over-weighted can cause hardbacks any other thing like turning into a diabetic and high cholesterol if he's young this will effect him for the rest of his life There is a saying you bring your horse to the water but you can't make him drink it nice that care about his health but he must make the change in his life Keep on tyring to get him to change and get other like his doctor involved in this
I wish you luck this is not a simple job

Yes your brother needs exercise and if you love him, you should encourage him to walk and go get what he wants himself to begin with and then perhaps you could do some jogging together; that would motivate him. It would probably do you good too because you would have quality time together while jogging or go for long walks or ride your bicycle. This is my suggestion. It's better than nagging about it, yes?

Good luck and enjoy your talks and walks. You may even go elsewhere than McDonald.

Don't make him jog yet, walk first then work up to jogging. Jog in the other direction to subway or just jog round the block and back into the kitchen and make a sandwich.

First, stop driving him there. Chances are he will be to lazy to walk and then he won't be able to have it. Tell him he is overweight and he needs to stop eating that crap. Then get him that movie "Supersize Me" I think thats the name. It's where that guy eats McDonald's for a month and goes through some serious health problems.

First of all, why do people equate McDonald's with unhealthy eating? It's the people who make the choices on the menu. Tell him sure, I'll take you to McDonald's if you're going to order a Salad, fruit salad, order bottled water and no fries! Then, you can walk home for exercise.

I agree with jack Russel Girl-Get the movie- DVD- "Supersize ME"-
how about him trying Subway diet if he has to eat out- drink water- and working out with a bud- like you- even a walk- swim-anything to get things moving would help- is he depressed or have underlying medical issues?? How about ww or overeaters anon-I lost 50 lbs on ww- works great-felt so much better- badgering doesn't help-encourage- take care- D

make him watch 'super-size me'.. that oughta do it.. nobody i know who's watched it could eat mc donalds ever since.. it's just disgusting...
i dont think you should tell him to jog though.. you're his brother and as mucha s you're worried about his health, if you make comments about his weight he might end up seeing you in a different light.. more like a bully at school.. maybe you could take him to other places to eat.. just as long as you dont go eat mcdonalds yourself i'm sure he'd want to eat with you at a healthier place than alone at mcdonalds..
Good Luck with that ;-)

Make him jog somewhere else. Bring him salads, fresh fruit an yogurt and lean meat in small portions. Be nice - he ain't heavy, he's your brother.

Just explain to your brother that you love him and you are not going to help him gain any more weight. invite him to join you when you go do healthy things or pick him up something healthy to eat instead. if he is hungry he will eat it. he might start liking healthier things.
