Pronounced "fee-gul" That's my last name, and no one in my family has a clue of where it's from

I believe it's german. I googled it and found out that most Figels came from Germany but some from Austria. So it's definitely of Anglo-Saxon decent.

It sounds like german or sweedish to me . i have a girl i work with and her name is also Fiegel. But she is rather scandanavian looking also could be german . She is blonde and blue eyed and rather tall. So iam thinking could be german,sweedish or norweigan as she looks as if she could be from any one of these countries. Good Luck I hope this helps.
