That's an interesting question. Cancer we know arises from mutations that occur sometimes randomly, sometimes because of environmental factors, and sometimes because of the genes we inherit from our parents. While we think of cancer as something that is abnormal, it actually "normally" happens in our bodies all the time. The only thing is, our body's immune system or other "built-in" mechanisms usually is able to get rid of these abnormal cancer cells and we don't get gross cancerous masses which we all know as "cancer".

If that's the case, Life itself causes cancer because of the fact that as soon as you are procreated, random errors start occurring in our cells. So the question I guess, should be more appropriately, what doesn't cause cancer more than life does already?!

Cancer is caused by mutataions in the somatic cells. Sometimes the body isn't able to locate these cancerous cells and the cells end up undergoing mitosis and multiplying into a tumor. You're pretty much on the money. Anything that causes mutations in the cells can be considered cancerous.

I believe that tobacco, certain kinds of pesticides/chemicals and certain viruses including Human papilloma virus & Hepatitis B virus cause cancers.
There are more than 100 types of cancers; any part of the body can be affected.
In 2005, 7.6 million people died of cancer - 13% of the 58 million deaths worldwide.
More than 70% of all cancer deaths occur in low and middle income countries.
Worldwide, the 5 most common types of cancer that kill men are (in order of frequency): lung, stomach, liver, colorectal and oesophagus
Worldwide, the 5 most common types of cancer that kill women are (in the order of frequency): breast, lung, stomach, colorectal and cervical
Tobacco use is the single largest preventable cause of cancer in the world.
One fifth of all cancers worldwide are caused by a chronic infection, for example human papillomavirus (HPV) causes cervical cancer and hepatitis B virus (HBV) causes liver cancer.
A third of cancers could be cured if detected early and treated adequately.
All patients in need of pain relief could be helped if current knowledge about pain control and palliative care were applied.
40% of cancer could be prevented, mainly by not using tobacco, having a healthy diet, being physically active and preventing infections that may cause cancer.

Pretty much too much or too little of absolutely anything causes cancer. And sometimes it develops all on its own, independent of anything else, due to pollutants in your environment.

Basically, everything causes cancer.

Loving Someone and being loved. As a matter of fact, it is proved that those with fatal illnesses live longer and have a better chance of beating the disease if they have a love network in their lives.
