My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

From a physical exam point of view, here are the usual top priorities
1) If you smoke, stop. If you need help, ask.
2) If you are overweight, put into action a plan to eat smarter and increase your cardiovascular exercise; if you don't need to lose weight, put into action a plan to eat smarter and increase your cardiovascular exercise.
3) If you are a woman over 45 have your cholesterol checked
4) If you are a woman under 26 be checked for asymptomatic Chlamydia
5) If you're a woman and you've not had 3 normal consecutive pap smears in the last year, have a pap
6) If you're a woman over 50 get an annual mammogram. (If your 40-50 talk to your doctor about your risk of breat cancer.)
7) If you're over 50, talk to your doctor about the best way to screen for colon cancer (he or she should discuss costs, risks, benefits and expected results of colonoscopy versus home fecal occult blood testing)
8) If you're a guy over 50 the same thing applies about colon cancer, but ignore 3-6
9) If you're a guy over 35 you should have your cholesterol checked
10) Everybody should have their blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight, vision and hearing checked if they've not been done so recently.
11) If you have any chronic conditions bring a journal that shows your "numbers" and any symptoms
12) Write down any questions you have.
13) Bring all your medicines including your supplements and vitamins in the original packing.
As far as you changing the way you look or "getting in shape" for a physical, don't worry about it. That's kind of like giving yourself a perm before going to beuaty salon or changing your oil before taking your car in for an oil change and lube job.

I am a male, 29 years old, 5'8" , 180 lbs, 12% body fat, and have a resting pulse of 45 bpm. This is what I do.
Diet is extremely important.
I burn more calories than I eat.
I limit my fat intake.
I eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it) and pineapples. This helps me break down my food.
I do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before I eat in the morning). This attacks the fat.
I do 30 min of weight training three times a week. This builds lean muscle which in turn burns fat.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for Three more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%
Be Blessed

its not a vague question. taking supplements it very wrong. People think it's a good replacement of healthy food but it isn't, You need to cut off those supplies right away if you wanna be healthy. second you need to have a lot of water intake everyday. 3 liters minimum. it helps purify your system inside out. you also need to focus on a low-carb, high-fibers foods. third thing is: you should have the right food combinations, never mix protein (meat, chicken,, etc) with carb (bread, noodles, potato), i've read a complete book about that issue. Scientists have proved that such bad food combinations cause the stomach to secrete juices that are inefficient in their work, thus the operation consumes an immense amount of energy. In 8 hours, you'd be losing an amount of energy that equates the energy lost in swimming for 2 hours!!! see how much energy you've lost?
fourth thing is try to do some yoga, join a class with a credible instructor that can help you do the right yoga that allows you to space out and thus allows the physical side of you to be in sync with your mind control. FIFTH: exercises exercises exercises.

Don't mean to sound gross, but have you heard of the Dual Action Colon Cleanse method? It promises to detoxify the body while eliminating accumulated undigested fecal material. It says that the average adult is toting around 22 pounds of it. When they did an autopsy on Elvis, he had 44 pounds of it. Yuk! It emphasizes that it is not a laxative; it fact, laxatives make the problem worse. The program says that it will revitalize you and make you almost feel young again. I tried it and found that everything they said was true. Granted, you poop your brains out for the first week, but then it levels out for the rest of the month. Suddenly, I have boundless energy, and can do SO much more! It's definitely worth the effort. Look into it. You won't regret it.

the supplements you are taking are great for you if your body can utilize them. You need special minerals for each of the vitamins you are taking in order for them to enter the blood stream and not get flushed with other undigested food items. I'm taking a great multi vitamin, alfalfa contains every known vitamin and many of the minerals needed to break it down. My all natural mineral/vitamin supplement has cured my depression! its clearing my skin and works fast to clear your body of toxins. The supplements are inexpensive, easy to take and have no negative side effects.
email me for more info, Id love to help!
