Well putting Mayo on your hair would be exactly the same as putting normal hair conditioner. but mayo would smell funkier! Mayo is made of egg (an emulsion), water and oil (usually sunflower oil). As u may know that water cannot mix with oil therefore egg is added to make it a thick like mixture. Normal hair conditioner is the same however it is chemically made. If you are a au natural person. Mayo would be a good choice!

My best friend is one of the greatest hair stylest! As a matter of fact, i was able to have my hair cut and styled by Paul Mitchell!!! any way back to the point. Yes mayo was used many years ago, the secret is the oil in the mayo. Their are new and better ways (at home treatments) that are way better. Try washing your hair, damp dry and then use small amounts of olive oil, start at the ends and then work up. After you have completed this stepbend over and wrap your hair in a bun ( if possible use a walmart bag to wrap around your hair ) If you have time run a blow dryer lightly, for heat, for about ten minutes. After letting your strands coolrince very well in warm and then cool. This step is very important; if you dont rince well, you'll get oily. If you dont like those results just email me, I know alot of the tricks of the traid.

its supposed to be coz it has oil, egg, lemon juice etc. all things good for the hair. but my main problem with it is that it has egg yolk which makes the hair eggy smelling, also the commercial bottled mayo doesnt seem fresh and organic enough to help my hair. so I make my own mayo like mix, I whip together 2 egg whites, 3 tbsp oilve oil & 2 tsp lemon juice. I have slightly long hair, this is enough for the scalp and all the hair. Its a pain in the behind to wash of but I have nice hair even after a pregnancy I didnt lose any hair.

Works great on hard boiled eggs ! But olive oil is tauted for scalp and hair.... I personally prefer petroleum jelly with anti biotics like neosporin it's a fabulous conditioner and fights the germs that cause bad scalp....!

yes but it's very oily so I don't suggest it if your hair is already oily only if your hair is dry and brittle. It also gets rid of head lice

yes. It makes your hair nice and shiny. So is raw egg and milk, but i wouldn't rinse it out with hot watter or your hair won't smell very nice. :/
