How we can protect this rare species of bird?

it is not a pelican it is a fish eating bird from pacific ocean. Its shell broke because of contaminated fish. hence this kingfisher will become extinct before some year.

pelicans are not extinct. There are even Pelicans in Canada. If you are worried about the environment, do something about it. The species is not as rare as you seem to think.

The pelican is not endangered. Both the White and the Brown Pelican thirve on the Texas coast.

when I go fishing, there are tons of pelicans. Can't believe they're even endangered, let alone extinct.
