there are many instances where it is called out as a blasphemy. In every instance it is mentioned in the bible, it is followed by the punishment. As in
Romans 1:27
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
And in Leviticus 18:22, it says:
Leviticus 18:22
Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

I am gay and I'm not aware of any bandwagon that people are climbing onto in droves.
By the way, why do you spell "God" with a small "g?" That's the real abomination.

Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13
Christians today do not follow the rules and rituals described in Leviticus. But some ignore its definitions of their own "uncleanness" while quoting Leviticus to condemn "homosexuals." Such abuse of Scripture distorts the Old Testament meaning and denies a New Testament message. "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination." These words occur solely in the Holiness Code of Leviticus, a ritual manual for Israel's priests. Their meaning can only be fully appreciated in the historical and cultural context of the ancient Hebrew people. Israel, in a unique place as the chosen people of one God, was to avoid the practices of other peoples and gods.

Not everyone abviously but it has increased greatly.
Yes, in the bible it is one of the things called an abomination in the sight of god. That doesn't mean we should think the people themselves are, they are still children of God, they are just sinning.

No, I'm not on the bandwagon.
And yes, God did call it an abomination that leads to destruction.

I don't agree with it, but I think its wrong to force our values and ways of living on others. All of us sin, and none of us are God or prophets so we have no right to judge them. People steal, kill, rape, but we are against gay people because they hold
someone differently then who we prefer at night. Why is it our business? The All-Knowing God judges people best, so lets leave it up to him and improve our own imperfect lives. Again I don't agree, but what if the gay person is a better person then we are and each day prays to God for guidance? We know not...

Look at it this way. With the alledged increase in the homosexual population, it may be a sign that God has changed his mind, and decided to create more of them. Hmmmm.

There are a lot of gods. Please specify.
My God is more interested in gamma ray bursts than petty sexual behaviors. Creation of matter and energy are more like It's hobbies.
Thank you and have a nice day.
