strange question, difficult to answer. I don't know that there are secret handshakes or UFO's or aliens in religions, and never heard of any funny underwear or secret names. You're probably talking about secret organizations because religions either are beliefs with regard to God or god, or are to show you how to lead your life.

Sounds like Scientology, but Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons have similiar beliefs to those you described too.

Faithists are pretty strange or at least some of their beliefs are. Oh, and there is that one that has the holy book named after the godess of love spelled backwards. That was pretty weird too, but I am not sure if either of these fit your desciption exactly.

Jehovah's witness is a cult, so that would not count, Mormons are a cult, that wont count either, Muslims are too busy killing people, including their own, Catholics are making more saints and molesting boys, that might count???? Of course there is another cult to consider: Scientologists???
