How come no one stands up for Americans. We dont get anything free, Americans born and raised in America have to work till they are 65 years of age to qualify for any social security, and not mention we dont get full medicare, only 80% coverage when we turn 65. All the years prior we have to pay for insurance out of pocket. If you are a immigrant you get 100% medical insurance, subsidized housing and food stamps and can get on welfare, that is NOT FAIR. Immigrants have more rights than those born and raised in America ,WHY??? and why nothing done about it?? Americans have to pay 20% hospital bills after the age of 65 and that is very expensive unles they themselves pay for there own secondary insurance, NOT FAIR FOR AMERICANS

I am an African American teacher and I have been asking this for years.
Who gave all these illegals all of these entitlements.
We need to put up a fence on both our borders and keep out Canamexicans. The we can spend the entitlement dollars on our own people. My neighbors here in Detroit live in poverty while the Canadians drive over here everyday for cheap beeer and cigarettes and the beaners work all of the 7-11's.

Hey if you have any problem with any policy on social security or retirement take it to your politicians. Americans have that opportunity, undocumented workers do not. Instead of complaining and blaming all of your problems on "illegals" you should get off your butt and try to do something about it.
Then again the fact that hard working migrants take the jobs from Americans proves that sometimes Americans just don't want to put any "real effort" into anything worth doing.
Or how about the protests across the country on immigration? You saw hundreds of thousands of hispanics marching the streets, risking loosing their jobs but how many "outraged" and "fed up" Americans did you see doing the same thing?
Oh yeah not many. They're probably to busy sitting at home complaining about illegal immigration.

I am American and I dont have to pay 20% of my medical bills. I also am not relying on social security so I don't have to wait until I am 65. Never had to pay for health insurance out of pocket and I am sure as hell not gonna rely on medicare.
This is not something you can blame on anyone but your employer who keeps shipping our jobs overseas for cheap labor. Quite a big chunk of that blame can also be sent to your politicians that let them get away with it.
Yeah we are getting the raw end of the deal but it has nothing to do with immigration. It has all to do with corporate greed and those nice lobbyists that have your best interests in mind, of course that was sarcasm.

You are so right. I would love to shake your hand for asking this question. It's not right that Americans are last in our own DAMN COUNTRY!!! It's not right that these foreigners can get everything free and many Americans have no health care and can't get any help from a system they have paid in to their entire lives. What is right about that?

Because we do not stand up for ourselves, are too busy to? Maybe it is because the people we trust and send to office to represent us end up representing some corporate special interest group. I feel it is a combination of factors but mostly we complain but are too lazy to get out to vote when it is time and even if we do we don't educate ourselves about who we are voting for.

Because here in America people have the right to speak out against government policy but we have become like sheep and have to be told what to think and people will not unite with one voice.

Republicans hate socialism , so you get nothing. Socialism to one degree or another is practiced amongst all the first world countries. Medical care is regarded as a basic human rightin the rest of the first world.
Only in America is helping people who need help a bad thing.
very very strange

I wish everyone on this site would email or call ALL of their "elected class" (local, state & Federal) every day & tell them the war our government is waging against middle-class Americans is unacceptable...then back your statements with your vote...

Yeah...this is SUCH a third-world country because of those lousy aliens.
Go live for a year in Uganda or Beirut, then see how much you feel like bitching about your crummy, short-end-of-the-stick existence in America.
Most of those over-the-border immigrants will eventually be naturalized, or deported. It's not a life-long free ride for anyone. I'm amazed you have that perception.
Man........

Put the legislators' feet to the fire. Do you write to them about this issue? First, write and tell them to build the fence. It's a start.
Deport the illegals, enforce the laws.
