Jesus taught his followers or anyone that would listen Love and Peace! That's a FACT. Jesus created a direct, divine, personal relationship with OUR CREATOR, GOD. He did that by obtaining a Higher Consciousness, by meditation, not prayer that religion would teach people. People quoting from a book that a religion says that's holy, just shows you the people are brainwashed by their religion! Why does each religion want to be the only religion people should believe in???? because the religion wants to control the brainwashable people. Look how many of them there are. Billions! I'm off to the next shuttle to the other part of the universe, because, for most of the people of earth, their believing in something that's not even close to being true, and that's their religion. GOD is proven, because we are a creation of some being way beyond our comprehesion, but religion think they know all about GOD and any spirituality they believe in. When did you say the shuttle is leaving! ! ! GOD's LOVE

Do you believe in Christ?

And what did you say your religion is? And jump right there on that shuttle and have a nice trip! Jesus did teach love and peace. But he did not teach idiocy. Sometimes you run out cheeks to turn. The Jews turned the other cheek and you see where that got them.

There are many truths in this world you know. Here is one more for you, God could, if he wanted to, stop all of the suffering in this world, why does he not do it?

I believe in God, I do not believe iy you!

Let me just present some view points... not to offend anybody ... but just presentation of some thoughts... it goes something like this ... At the crucification time of Jesus, think with whom the majority were and whose life they wanted..? In today's world the organised church can influence more than 1500 million ... before the crucification of Christ all most all including his disciples came under the influence of Devil .. probably the attraction for material world .. similarly probably the institutionalised church could be also under the Complete Command of Devil who promotes prejudice, divisions and hate... the Christ brought back all those Antichrists into his fold with his Resurrection miracle ... but probably after the demise of Christ the Devil again took the charge by demonising a few things and showing the enemies to attack ... By showing a few enemies from time to time probably the Devil instilled his major weapon the the belief of absolute reality of Dialectical Materialism not only in the Organised Churches, but there all over the world.

Jesus Christ convinced people of the Greatness of God beyond the sensed World with some Miracles and Love. He conquered the Devil of Materialism with love and nonconfrontation. He showed the Power of God with His Resurrection ... beyond all those laws governing a normal running of Nature ... That Great Breacher of Law showed what God can do beyond all laws ... probably the lesser gifted disciples who were already once into the Devil's influence, just could not resist the temptation to be Glorified just as Christ ... So they found an easier method ... the Devil's short cut to power .. probably some parts of the Word of God speak the voice of Anti Christ ... The vested power interests that once tempted Christ but could not succeed .. that once succeeded in tempting His disciples ... time and again succeeds again and again with the Majority Community.

jk won't say anything is wrong, cause everything is ther in that Great Divine Cosmic Drama ... Without a powerful Villain, what's the thrill in watching a Drama ... Probably the whole set up is here for the Enjoyment of God ...

Wow, that's a beautiful rant. I can almost see you stomping your feet, taking your toys and going home because no one would play with you.
So -- Jesus got Higher Consciousness by mediation. No other guidence was needed.

And, not only that but Jesus created the direct connection to God -- not the other way around.

And, we the brainwashable, should follow your idea?

Methinks we may be foolish, but not stupid. Enjoy the trip, kid.

In the first case, the bible is a book of mythology and God does not exist.

In the second case, the Jesus myth was constructed using a composite of the hundreds of "messiahs" running around Roman occupied Jerusalem.

In the third case, Jesus was a Jewish rabbi and did not invent a brand new religion. Christians were Jews.

In the fourth case, what is commonly called "Christianity" is based on the teachings of the first recorded "anti-Christian," Saul of Tarsus (Paul of the Bible).

Christianity as practiced today was invented in the 4th Century and isn't Christian at all. It is anti-Christian. Real Christians would be attending synagogues, not churches. And, following Hebrew (Mosaic) Law.

Anyone who thinks their own personal religious philosophy is likely to be correct when it fails to even remotely match up with the constant teachings of the universal Church that Jesus personally established, ought to think again.

Why is it that you are the only who understands God? Aren't you just trying to create your own "religion"?
