The question is `WHY' .
Why eat very less for a long time.
see eating little less than required is very good to maintain health.

our body requires certain amount of proteins ,vitamins and minerals on daily basis.
If you dont fulfill even the minimum requirment then in long term definitely you are in the loss in terms of many things as -
you will age faster , your body will lose strength and stamina faster, recoveries will be slow and late, resistance power will decrease and you will be prone to getattacked by even small small things like cold,temp. etc very fast.
plus most imp . is this all negative things will reduce your will power,your self image and you will feel mind seekness and thats
the end. See living a long life of say 100-150 years with sick mind weak willpower has no meaning.
instead live a short but significant life.

First it would depend on the type of food. You may loose weight that way however doing it long term is defined as anorexia and will lead to muscle loss, weakness, low immunity from disease, and a host of other issues. The body needs certain amounts of proteins and carbs to function properly and usually between 1200-2000 calories a day depending on body type, activity level and many other factors but those are most important. I have done this several times and it does make you lose weight of course and eventually causes your appetite to decline to where you are not really even hungry for food or if you do eat then you can't eat much and you fill up very fast. I have lost ALOT of weight over a period of time from an eating disorder I have. You do get very slugish also and have alot of problems with your over all health not just your weight. Drink alot of fluids if your doing this for whatever reason .

you end up losing weight, not only that you deprive your body of nutrients that it needs on a daily basis. You need to eat to keep your body running. basically like a car without gas aint going nowhere....

U will probably luse weight, BUT ur body won't get da right amount of calories and enegy ur body needs.
