No. There's not a whole lot to understand in scripture, but it is well understood by the non-believers who challenge believers to provide realistic support for their myths.

No, because most of the non-believers understand the Bible better than the believers.

Believers rarely have read the whole Bible since they believe the same things they were born and raised to believe. This doesn't expose them to the other things out there -- they believe strictly because it's all they know, and study is meaningless if you already know it all.

Nonbelievers, on the other hand, usually have read the entire Bible, many have done so multiple times, along with other holy texts such as the Bagavad Gita and the Koran. They are determined to understand because only by understanding can you come to find the truth.

So... no. That verse has more to do with believers who thump their Bibles and then play interpreter saying that this part is still valid but that part isn't or this part is literal and that part is symbolic.

It is referring to the pope, preachers, God speakers of all kinds and anyone who professes to speak for God.

Gonna be lots of "Christians" in hell, it seems.

In reading your other questions and comments, it is referring to you. You might also check Matthew 7:5 to see what else the bible says about you personally.

Yes...
Often non-believers do not exercise wisdom or caution - and apeak whether they are knowledgable or not.
Ever know anyone like that?
That is what I love about the BIble - tells it like it is.

Talking about false teachers; those who are intentionally trying to lure people away from God.
