I have some video files in a folder and wanted to use thumbnail view. Well when ever I go to this folder and open it windows trys to create thumbnail views of my files and crashes on the second file not giving me time to change the folder view out of thumbnail view. Any Ideas how to fix this.

It tries to load thumbnails in explorer too. And crashes. Hmmm

Delete the Thumbs.db file in the folder and subfolders that have Thumbnail view enabled.

However, as you are not able to open the folder, try using command prompt. 1. Click Start->Run. 2. Type CMD and press enter. 3. In the command window, Change directory (CD) to where the photos are and use

Once it is done, you should be able to browse to that folder with out issues. If you have trouble using Command window, post the exact problems.

Use Explorer to log on to the folder, then use view to change from thumbnails to what ever, (details, list, etc.)
I recommend that people put a short cut on their desk top to Explorer and put it in the top left corner. Then put my computer under it and the recycle bin under that. The rest can go where ever you like. Makes editing files etc. a lot easier.
