I would not suggest the corner store but I do think it should be legalized and sold with alcohol and age restrictions. I do not know why our greedy governments fights it, look at the tax revenue they could get. Furthermore, the oldest profession should also be legalized which would keep the ladies safe and clean.

To be honest I smoked alot of marijuana in the past, and I regret it. All it really does is pollute your lungs, and make you temporarily stupid, and the drugs don't go out of your system, so after awhile of smoking it you are going around acting, looking, smelling, and feeling stupid, but still feeling like you are cool.
It's a good appetite stimulant, and somewhat a good pain killer, and it relaxes you, but I hate how it stays in the system for so long. I don't think it should be legal, because too many students in High School and younger would be smoking it and the education system is bad enough the way it is without a bunch of stoners. The marijuana these days is also too strong and could cause serious car accidents, almost as bad as talking on a cell phone, not as bad as being drunk.

As a libertarian, I would have to say yes, because the prohibition of drugs has the same effects that the prohibition of alcohol had in the 20s. Think of all the drug dealers who make millions of dollars because our government refuses to regulate yet another product that makes billions of dollars annually as it is. If you are against drugs, you should also be against the dealers, so remember, if you could buy pot at CVS, those guys would be forced to find legitimate jobs. Whats more, regulating drugs would make them safer and cleaner. I think they should legalize prostitution as well. Actually its legal in nevada, and as a result, the women working the brothels have never had a case of aids as they have to do weekly med tests, they are in secure facilities with security gates, they never have sex unprotected, and they are not out on the streets being abused by pimps. It puts pimps out of business as well. And it creates more jobs, giving women who otherwise had no choice (which is why they are prostitutes in the first place) a safe place to go. When you have things that have lasted timelessly (prostitution and drugs have been a huge part of many societies for centuries of history) it is better to regulate those things and make them safe for people who will do them anyway, no matter how hard you try to stop them.

Definitely! If alcohol and tobacco and fast-food are legal, than so should marijuana be. Uncle Sam has no problem using our military might to devastate and destroy and destabilize the world, yet he gets all bent out of shape about a little cannabis? That's not consistent. Pack it fat, amigos, pack it fat!
P.S. Think about all the tax revenue federal, state, and local governments could bring in.

No, I used to think so, when I smoked, but, looking back, that was stupid. That's like putting morphine for sale on the corner store. Yeah, you aren't drunk, but, you are impaired, worse that alcohol.

No, it should not be legal. The only exception should be for medicinal purposes such as cancer patients but not for random idiots. Are you going to want a druggie doctor to perform a double bypass on you? Or a airline high pilot flying the plane you are in?

Only if you are wearing a BRIGHT GREEN shirt when you buy it... and we are allowed to hunt anyone wearing bright green shirts too. It could be seasonal.. I'd be ok with that. I mean, it is a plant so seasons makes sense...
