thats true and getting up in the morning to a life that is ultimatley doomed. Of course one day the mechanism that keeps us orbiting the sun will fail and the sun will consume the universe rendering all human endevour ultimatley pointless. I hope that puts your question in some sort of context.

You'll just have be satisifed with watching the rubes live out their lives in trailer courts while they send their scarce earnings to con artists like Benny Hinn to pay for his gate guards surounding his palace. In that sense, we at least see in the here and now that ignorance and gullibility receive their due reward.

I think it's that there is nothing else after this.I mean,it's better than going on to eternal hell or whatever, but it would be nice if we really DID have something to look forward to after death.I mean, all this crap for nothing?!It's no wonder the Christians are always trying frantically to convince themselves that their logical. My ego suffers every time I think about death...

I realize you are being sarcastic (I hope), but to me, there is no down side to atheism.

Bible believers live in total fear their entire lives and it is hard to understand why anyone would make that choice. It must have some relation to their need for the security of a parent watching their every move.

Whats even worse is when Armageddon comes you'll be like one of those people that were knocking on the door of the arc when the rain started.
To late to believe then.
