First of all, please accept my deepest sympathies that you went through this. Not everyone who claims to be a representative of Christ truly is one, as I think you have unfortunately seen. Jesus said that people would know who His disciples are by their love. And your ex obviously wasn't evidence of that love.
Find a fellowship where there are others who have been through broken relationships. Counseling would be a very good idea as well--something like what you've been through has probably created issues that you're not even aware of at the moment. Find pastors in your area who are certified counselors, and take a trusted female friend with you for support. For the sake of accountability anyway, pastors should not counsel members of the opposite sex without a third person being present, at the very least to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
Don't give up hope. DO give yourself time to heal. Spend time in prayer and in Bible study. If you're frustrated, angry or otherwise out of sorts with God, tell Him. He already knows how you feel--and He wants you to be honest with Him and with yourself. Ask Him to help you heal. And He will. Don't hurry. Just wait for Him.
I'll be praying for you. Take care.

I really feel for you.
The good news is, you can have spirituality without religion.
The simplest is meditation and all the doors that opens up.
There is also Buddhism which does not really require worship. It deals primarily with the self.
There are also some religions that let you follow your own conscience (like the Bahai's and the Unitarians). There are also religious and secular humanists.
Try doing some searches of the internet on these topics.

Just because you went thru hardship in life doesn't mean God wasn't there for you. Pain is part of living so it's a way to grow. Allow yourself to grow from pain and learn from it. I go through pain now and then but I'm always looking for the lesson that comes along with it so I don't repeat again. I don't know anyone can grow spiritually without suffering. Too much joy will keep you inept.

Listen to Christian music!!! You can be alone and won't feel uncomfortable. It is so sad when a bad thing happens and one loses his faith because of it. I can say i can understand why you lost your faith. I do believe that you still have a little left or you would not be able to know something is missing. :) Music always helps me

God Bless and I do understand what you are saying. Pray and spend time with Jesus ask him for guidance and strength. Talk to him he says "He will never leave us" Everyone that claims to be saved or say they are called it's, Satan was a gorgeous angel that walked the heavens. That is why he uses people and situations to distract the goal of us making it to heaven. Because he has been there and he knows what the reward is only thing he CANNOT go back. We learn and draw nearer to GOD through our trials and tribulations. It is his way of molding us into his image. I myself went through a horrible divorce only thing I desired was a peace of mind, I didn't understand why for many years to come why me. But GOD has blessed me abundantly because I dedicated my life to him.
I am a new creature in Him. I thank him everyday for what he has done in MY LIFE.
Believe in him keep the faith REMEMBER there is NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD.

find a different faith, christianity is not the only faith out there, there are several branches of it, and there is also buddhism, islam, and a bunch of others that i probably forgot to list, you probably wouldn't be satisfied with what i believe so i won't tell you about that one, but you can find a new faith and get new spirituality, just do whatever makes you happy

Dear friend,
Faith is our reason to live, this is the most valuable thing that we own and you have to understand that we can't lost our faith that easier. You have to establish a link between God and you, tell him that you have problems, and that you need help; I can assure you that He is going to help you, make a good friendship with Him. He is the only one who can help you, no one else.
Best wishes to you!!!

Your first step is to stop looking to religion for spirituality. If you don't feel comfortable around Christians then don't be around them. Take a break from religion and do some personal soul searching. You don't need religion to relate to God.

Something is missing...and he will keep nagging at you until you find it. It's not too late...What happened to you was unfortunate..but God didn't do it to you and you left him and he wants you back. You feel guilty about giving up on God when you know he won't give up on you...That's why Christians make you uncomfortable I suppose. Let go and let God and you'll feel better...I did..

It feels good to sin because satan wants you to feel pleasure so you won't think of God. When you are around other christains satan is fighting to keep you in his rim. You know something is wrong so read your Bible and go back to praying so you will be in Gods rim again. God will lead you all you need to do is keep your faith. May God Bless and keep you safe.
