I need to know which language was the first to use the 'j' sound as it is pronounced in English.

This is one of the more common sounds in the world's languages. It is found on every continent and in one or more languages in most language families. It is found in about 27% of all the languages of the world. There is no such thing as "the first language" to use this sound. Its origin is back quite near the beginning of human language's life about 100,000 years ago. Indeed, you cannot ask this question for ANY sound.
