It is something to do with electrical or electronics. Ohms is the measure of resistance. 10k sounds like a resister.

Depends on how it was used in a sentence. There is one heck of a difference between a 10k ohm and a 120 ohm resister.

A question like this would have to be seen in context for some-one to figure out the correct answer. I would hazard a guess that it is an audio impedance match transformer.
