Yes, he could have a bladder infection....the doc will take a urine sample and check for that. If he's not in any pain I doubt if it's a kidney stone. When my son was young he would get anxious or excited at times and feel the urge to pee and be unable to....so according to my doctor(who could find nothing else wrong)sometimes it's just a nervous response.

frequent urination or the feeling of the need to urinate is one of many symptom of it.Also look for fever, change in behavior, back pain. You should get him to the doctor asap. having a UTI is one of the easiest ways to become septic(whole body being infected) It probably early so you can take care of that before that happens. Give him lots of water cranberry juice if he will drink it, and yogurt. STAY AWAY FROM CARBONATED DRINKS AND CAFFINE. I was in the hosptail with a UTI a few years ago. I want from just bearly fealing it on a saturday night to becoming very very sick and staying the hosptail for a week by monday.

Why in the world are you asking here? Isn't this a "no-brainer"? What if this were you? Wouldn't you go to the MD?
GO TO THE MD NOW. He could have anything from a simple infection, to a blockage, to a tumor, to prostate, to kidney, to ureter, to bladder problems.

Please get this child to the doctor or ER asap. It sounds like possibly a kidney stone blocking the urine passageway. My husband had the same thing, as he was peeing, the stream stopped and he was like Huh? His mom was checking it out and touched where the stone was and he FREAKED. It hurt him so bad. I would definitely get him to physician or better yet ER.

This could be a bladder infection or a swollen prostrate gland. Either way you should have him tested by a Doctor. .
