I personally do not like either of those, but if you're looking for something similar, you should definately check out this website.

More specifically, this is probably what you're looking for...
Beers similar to Stella

Beers similar to Corona

Take a look at the list, plenty of cheap beer to choose from. You might need to register on that site for the list, but it's worth it. Registration usually takes 20 seconds, depending on how fast you can type your name and email address =)

I don't know Stella, but Corona is just a lager made by a German brewmaster. Most Mexican beers are actually German. But the Mexicans do another little trick: Beer reacts with sunlight. I'm not sure what it does exactly, but most Mexican beer manufacturers zap the beer with ultraviolet light before bottling to give it the same effect. Maybe if you take an ordinary lager and put it out in the sun for a while?

Try Tecate, its similar to Corona in taste (actually better to me) and may be a bit cheaper. I have had it in the states a few places
Possibly Red Stripe would be close to Stella. I like Stella my self and usually get that at the pub when I go out. Not sure of the prices depends on where you go I would guess. But both these are good beers.
Cheers
