In a large city, there are probably hundreds of people with the same first name (more if it's a popular name). It is almost impossible, especially since most listings go by last name. You might find them online, but only if they are listed there.

Unless the first name is incredibly unique or the city is tiny, you will likely get too many matches to your query (which could be done in lexis using EZFIND). Besides, how would you know if you found the right person? If you know the street or other info, that would help narrow your search.

sure you can, but if the first name is so common, you might have to do extra bit to sort out since the return search will be quite enormous.
