I don't know what you consider a kid but i'm 17 and i'm just as much of an adult as you are mostly. Younger adults have just as many problems in life that they need questions for...
Now if you are talking about 12 or 14 year olds then yes i do believe you have somewhat of a point. But what would age restrictions do anyway? The kids would just lie about their age when registering with the site. So I think it would be a wasted effort.

Yes, this is not a kid-safe site. There is an age limit -- 13 -- but I don't think that it is enforced. Supposedly kids under 13 have to have their parents' permission to be here.
I'm not sure you can tell how old someone is -- my people lie about their age, but judging from the questions there are a lot of teens and pre-teens here. And because they are anonymous, they ask all sorts of questions.
Sometimes, if they get an accurate, mature, and intelligent answer from an adult, the might be some value to this site for them. But often, they get responses from other angst-filled teens that only reinforces their inappropriate thinking or behavior.

I agree with you. My kids have their own computer but certain sites like this are blocked and if they dont have the password they can't get on them... And no matter how hard they try its BLOCKED....... I also monitor what they are doing while they are on the computer!
I dont know why parents think that the net is safe for their children.. People wonder why kids get kidnapped or raped. Ok rant over sorry back to your regularly scheduled program!

Well, you know why there are so many kids in here. They either lie to their parents and say they are doing their homework (know this from experience w/ my 16 yr old, busted him when I reduced the homework screen to find where he wasnt suppose to be) or the parents just dont care what their children do as long as they stay out of their hair.

I liked this in the begining,..... not to swell now!!!!
